Spending Sunday with Art...

Today I'm going to share photos from the Zonta Club's art show fundraiser held at Mark Allen's restaurant in Peru, Il. I love to be involved in any event that gathers artists together for a common cause. Profits from this event go to providing scholarships to young women in our area and the theme was "Portraits of Women". So many amazing pieces. So many talented, creative people. The food was great. The company was better. Thanks to Ann Maxwell-Weisbrod (pronounced Wise Broad...love that name!) one of the owners of Mark Allen's and a famous artist in her own right for organizing and coming up with the idea for the event.
