Folks, if you want to do your art, then do your art, whatever it is. That and that alone makes you an artist. The only way that I know of to find out what works and what doesn't is to dive in and see what happens. Job or no job, profit or no profit, renown or anonymous, you're an artist when you are doing your art. It is really just between the two of you, so get crackin'.
