Vintage Lace Vest

This is Julie. She is one of my favorite customers and last month she purchased one of my vintage lace and apron vests at the French Hen Market. Yesterday she came to the market with her adorable (if I do say so myself) vest and was accessorized "as cute as she could be"! She and her friends are so much fun and I love to visit with them.

Some of the items that I brought to the market. Table is SOLD
The market was a huge success in many ways. Sold several of my larger pieces of furniture freshly coated with Annie Sloan paint. Networked with many of the vendors around me on so many things...business cards, merchandising, planning some events of our own, you name it - we discussed it!
Met a fellow vendor who lives in my area and we instantly bonded on with our "junking" stories.
Vintage folding that have been painted. "Free spirit" is on this chair and the other says "dreamer". Great little felted pillow and lace covered mason jar completes the vignette.

There is a wonderful booth at this show that I want to introduce to everyone. It is called the "Sassy Sparrows". Love these ladies and their products. In fact, I love their entrepreneurial style! Here is a little blurb from their bio: Sassy Sparrow is a home based business run by the Zimmerman family. Growing up, almost every time we wanted to buy something Mom would look at it and say, "We could make that!" This provided us with the mindset that with just a little money, creativity, and prayer we could design our own line of fashionable accessories.

Adorable headbands

The family consists of 5 girls and their mother (two older brothers are married but the work force has been enlarged by sister-in-laws) who make some of the most adorable purses, headbands and accessories that I have ever seen. Their craftsmanship is flawless. The girls said they were hoping to make this their life - sewing and creating wonderful projects. I applaud these young designers and hope you will visit their booth if you are ever at this market.

Purses to die for...
