A little coat of paint...

Trash to treasure pieces painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint!
I've been so busy painting for the last few days getting ready for the August French Hen Market in Morris. It will be a later show to coincide with an awesome car show that fills the streets. The market will start at 2pm and end at 8pm. Come out this Saturday and enjoy over 120 vendors!

Here are two of the many painted pieces that I will be bringing. The picture frame came from one of the old mansions on the boulevard of Logan Square. Had an oil painting in it but it was ripped and too far gone to save. Now the old wood and plaster frame is a lovely shade of cream and antiqued to bring out the lovely detail of the plaster embellishments.

The beveled mirror is in perfect condition and came from a second hand store in Ottawa. One of my favorite places to gather treasures. It's dark wood has been given a fresh coat of cream and old white paint. So pretty together.

I have several frames, an old sheet music storage shelf (very unique!), a few small tables, a very sweet Victorian hanging shelf and several other unique pieces that will compliment any shabby chic, vintage or eclectic home!

Hope to see you Saturday...
